I've done some more litter scatter, this time we're focusing on crisp packets and chocolate wrappers.
Firstly I produced a sheet of scale wrappers and then using spray adhesive I glued them to tin foil. This gave me the ability to bend the paper in a different way and it added a shiny underside for added realism.
For the crisp packets I did two versions. A flat version and an open packet version.
Because the wrappers are made from foil they can be easily bent into position to follow the contours of the model.
The open packets look amazing, but they are so incredibly time consuming to produce that I wont make many of them and will use them sparing across the city.
Let me know what you guys think.

They look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul.
DeleteThat is an insane level of detail, I really love the open crisp packets.
ReplyDeleteYou say insane, I say... actually insane is probably right!
DeleteThe open packets sure bring an extra amount of detail. Like the difference between a WoW and a jawdropping piece of scenery. It is crazy but looks so amazing at the same time.
ReplyDeleteNot sure I know the acronym WoW. Thanks Wouter, your comments make it all worth the effort :)
DeleteAbsolutely superb, Chris. Those crisp packets (AKA chip bags) are things of beauty.
ReplyDeleteThanks Finch. Next on the agenda are bin bags and cans of baked beans! It's not a glamourous job but someone has to do it!
