Preparing for my first actual game of Pulp City tomorrow. Nice simple set up with what I had on hand. Hoping to add a few trees to the park tomorrow.
We'll be using the teams from the starter boxes but hopefully we'll like the game enough to look at branching out and trying out new models. Obviously lots of painting needs doing to complete this table but I'm really excited with how it looks, even unpainted.
The benches and the bandstand come from Sarrisa Precision. The rest of the street furniture is from Fenris Games.
Hopefully I'll remember to snap some more pictures tomorrow!
Until then, have fun gaming,
Chris
That looks like a great setup. A few more trees for cover and a car or two to throw with and the table would fit Pulp City perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThanks man. Definitely adding some trees. Don't have any cars in the correct scale yet but none of the starter Supremes have Throw or Smash.
DeleteThe board looks great Chris. :)
ReplyDeleteAs you add more minis to Teams in time, I would then echo Wouter's sentiments about adding Objects (cars etc.). Hope you enjoy the game. :)
Thanks Leon. I've got plenty of Supremes painted up but I want to learn the game with the starters rather than risk not enjoying it by over complicating or building a team that doesn't work well together.
DeleteI think that looks superb already, I'm especially keen to see how you get on with the bandstand as mine is still lying around unpainted.
ReplyDeleteThe band stand is a great kit. I did a workbench post a while back showing the completed floor (it took 3-4 hours)
DeleteExcellent job. A few cars and vehicles for hitting each other with it will be even better :)
ReplyDeleteCertainly the extra cover might have helped. Much of the fighting took place in the park where it was easier to claim cover.
